Job Title: Early Careers Manager

Hybrid: South-West England / Hybrid

Salary: £45,000 - £58,000

What would I be doing day to day?

Support the development and execution of the Early Careers strategy for the firm. Managing end-to-end recruitment and development for trainees and apprentices. Partner regularly with the wider People teams.

Key duties:

  • Workforce planning to understand firms requirements
  • Design and manage external promotion schemes
  • Design and implement annual graduate recruitment programme (from setting up timetables to applications, selection for interview, assessment centres, and assessors)
  • Work with the Talent Development team on onboarding, new seat inductions, mentoring processes, trainning requirements and training for supervisors
  • Managing seat rotation
  • Supporting and being the 'go-to' during examination periods and managing exam results
  • Developing and managing appraisals and reviewing system
  • Update processes, review career progression strategies and monitor changes to regulatory frameworks
  • Create relevant reports to reflect stats throughout the early careers lifecycle

What is the company looking for?

  • 4+ years' experience in Early Careers
  • Experience within the Legal sector or Partnership led firm
  • Experience managing Graduate and or Apprentices programmes
  • Proactive, highly organised and strategic
  • Excellent communication skills, building rapport with internal partners and Early Career cohorts
