Position: Workplace Services Assistant Manager - managing a team and supporting the business
Salary: £45,000 - £47,000
Hybrid set up: 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Key responsibilities for this Workplace Services Assistant Manager position:
  • Lead and develop a team of facilities professionals, focussing on their growth and performance
  • Manage the facilities ticketing system, ensuring prompt resolution of issues within SLA parameters
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers whilst maintaining health and safety standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all facilities-related matters, maintaining clear communication channels
  • Support environmental initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Oversee access control systems and emergency response procedures
  • Maintain health and safety standards, including first aid responsibilities
What background and experience are the company looking for?
  • Proven facilities management experience in a professional environment
  • Strong track record in team leadership and management - must have managed a team
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional manner
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience with facilities management systems and processes
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
